1. What we collect

Account details you provide (name, phone number and/or email for OTP login, batch/city if you share it), and usage data generated as you use the platform — quiz scores, bookmarks, test history, and progress, so features like weak-area analysis can work.

2. What we don't do

We don't sell your personal data. We don't show third-party ads. We don't access anything beyond what's needed to run the platform and (where you've opted in) send study reminders.

3. How your data is used

To create and secure your account (OTP verification)
To show your own progress, bookmarks, and test history back to you
To send optional reminders (daily quiz, exam countdowns) if enabled
To process payments for paid content, via our payment processor (Razorpay) — we don't store your card or UPI details ourselves
To respond to support requests

4. Where data is stored

Account and progress data is stored with our infrastructure providers. Some study data (bookmarks, local test history) may also be stored in your browser's local storage on your device for features that work before you sign in.

5. Third parties

We use third-party services to run the platform: a database/auth provider, a payment processor (Razorpay) for purchases, and an email/SMS provider for OTP and notifications. Each only receives the data it needs to do its job.

6. Your choices

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated data, by emailing us. Some data (like payment records) may need to be retained for legal/tax reasons even after account deletion.

7. Children

LifeBeforeV1 is aimed at CPL and cadet aspirants, generally 18+. If you're using this under 18, please have a parent or guardian's awareness.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
